Whilst Jess is recovering, I just thought I would send out a huge thank you to all Jess' supporters.
The race went almost like a fairy tale. With the best elite womens field ever at a World champs, Jess was forced into giving everything she had in order to take out the win.
Jess will have a full race report over the coming days, but in the mean time I know she would want me to acknowledge both Canberra Off Road Cycling Club, TwentyFour Sports and all the other women in the field. In particular Katrin Van Der Spiegel, whom we knew would be there right at the end.
